What better way to kick off the new year than by discovering fresh talent and diving into exciting new music? You’re in the right place. Over the past few months, I’ve been keeping a close eye on the most promising newcomers, rising stars, and artists I believe are ready to make a big impact in 2025. From pop to rock, indie to R&B, and electronic beats, I’ve curated a list of artists that you’ll definitely want to check out.

Lola Young

Lola Young’s soulful voice and unapologetically raw lyrics are sure to captivate anyone who listens. At just 19 years old, Texas-born colby! introduced herself to the music scene with her debut EP, Dead Giveaway, in 2024. Wunderhorse is quickly becoming one of the most exciting newcomers in the UK rock scene. After touring with Fontaines D.C. and Pixies, they’re set to join Sam Fender on tour, solidifying their growing reputation. With a sharp, distinctive flow, she raps openly about her humble beginnings and resilience. Her live performances and innovative art direction are captivating, making her one of the most exciting live acts today. Doechii is poised to be on everyone’s radar soon.

KNEECAP

Rebellious, unfiltered, and unapologetically Irish, KNEECAP has redefined what Irish hip-hop can be. Their provocative lyrics and pride in their heritage resonate with a young generation hungry for authenticity. Their self-titled 2024 movie told their chaotic and controversial story, setting the tone for their new album Fine Art. With this release, KNEECAP has opened up a new chapter, making 2025 their year to shine.

Full of energy and creativity, Coi Leray is a genre-bending rapper, singer, and songwriter. Her November single, Heart Don’t Lie, teases a new era of music, leaving fans eager for what’s next. After successful singles like Players in the past we are excited to see what 2025 is bringing on. With a bold sense of style and magnetic stage presence, she’s already carving her own path in pop-infused rap.

This German artist BUNT. has already taken the global stage, performing at festivals and touring extensively. His live shows radiate an infectious energy, feeling as intimate and exhilarating as a house party; a safe haven where you can let loose and dance the night away. With unmatched vibrancy and authenticity, this is an experience you simply can’t afford to miss.

Nia Smith

With a silky-smooth voice and exquisite RnB melodies, Nia Smith has the power to mesmerize listeners and draw them into a trance with her music. At just 21 years old, the London-born artist is redefining soul for a new generation. Having already opened for major acts like SZA, she commands the stage with the confidence and charisma of a seasoned performer.
