Reeperbahn Festival 2025: My Top 10 Unforgettable Gigs

The Reeperbahn Festival has wrapped, four wild days of conferences, panels, culture, parties, and, of course, nonstop music across Hamburg’s most iconic venues. From September 17th to 20th, the city’s famous party street turned into a hotspot for music lovers, packed with showcases of some of the most exciting newcomers from around the world. Finally, here’s my list of the Top 10 concerts that made Reeperbahn 2025 unforgettable.

Fuffifufzich – Elbphilharmonie

A synth-pop queen in Hamburg’s world-famous Elbphilharmonie? Yes, please. Known for orchestras and classical performances, the hall instead pulsed with neon beats, live musicians, and a dazzling light show of Fuffifufzich. The vibe was anything but classical. People were dancing in the aisles, singing along, and sharing the sheer joy radiating from the stage. To top it off, Fuffifufzich invited the crowd onto the podium for the final song “Zauberstaub”. Goosebumps. Pure magic.

Chloe Slater – Uebel & Gefährlich

Hot, sweaty, loud, and perfect. UK alt-pop newcomer Chloe Slater turned Uebel & Gefährlich into an angst-fueled dance floor. Whether you’d been a fan before or just discovered her, you couldn’t help but get swept up by the guitar riffs, the rage, and the cathartic singalongs. She’s about to tour with Role Model, so learn the lyrics now before she blows up.

Elle Coves – Bahnhof Pauli

New pop star alert! Elle Coves charmed Hamburg with emotional, danceable tracks and effortless guitar-backed charisma. Born in Germany but now based in Ireland, she kept the energy high despite a delayed start and shortened set. Her warmth, songwriting, and “pop girly” glow lit up the room. Catch her supporting Dotan on tour soon (you’ll want to brag you saw her early, I promise).

Alessi Rose – Große Freiheit 36

From being Dua Lipa’s opening act to playing a headline tour herself, Alessi Rose is a star on the rise. Her set was pure performance art: Alessi brought her own magnetig shrine-like stage to Große Freiheit 36. Seeing her career skyrocket feels like witnessing the start of something big.

Nina Chuba – Heiligengeistfeld

Germany’s pop/rap powerhouse Nina Chuba played a surprise gig on Wednesday evening just before dropping her sophomore album. What a way to kickstart the Reeperbahn Festival! With pyro, fog, and endless energy, Nina delivered new tracks to a massive crowd under the open Hamburg sky. The album is out now, so get on it.

Big Special – Große Freiheit 36

My surprise discovery of the weekend. The Rock duo Big Special from Birmingham mixed humor with explosive energy, tossed merch into the crowd, shared joints, and even performed among the fans. Their chaotic, funny, and heartfelt show totally captivated me and proved the point that: sometimes stumbling into the unknown is the best part of Reeperbahn Festival.

6euroneunzig – Bahnhof Pauli

Think SXTN vibes mixed with some Ikkimel. 6euroneunzig turned a hot, overcrowded basement into the fiercest house party of the festival. Tracks full of rage, wit, and zero tolerance for bullshit had the whole room moshing and shouting along. Cunty rap energy for the girlies? A perfect finale to my festival.

Bow Anderson – Docks

Straight from Scotland, Bow Anderson’s pop-brilliance lit up the packed Docks. Even with technical glitches, her charisma and glowing presence carried the night. A mix of emotional ballads and upbeat anthems kept the crowd hooked. Sometimes it’s not perfection but joy that makes a gig unforgettable.

Alice Phoebe Lou – St. Michael’s Church

The most magical setting of the festival: Hamburgs St. Michaelis church with its golden interiors and echoing acoustics, gave a stage to the whimsical voice of Alice Phoebe Lou. The intimate, dreamy set previewed her upcoming album Oblivion and felt like stepping into another world. Whispered silence, fragile melodies, and goosebumps all around.

Matilda Mann – Imperial Theater

Indie darling Matilda Mann filled the velvet-red theater with quiet, emotional intensity. From the balcony to the back rows, the crowd hung on every note as her delicate voice wove through the stained glass and wooden beams. She’ll be supporting Tom Odell this fall in Europe, a perfect match for his fanbase.

Wrapping Up

Four days, countless venues, endless new discoveries. That’s the magic of Reeperbahn: stumbling into your new favorite artist, dancing with strangers, and falling in love with music all over again. As I build new playlists and plan the next round of gigs, one thing’s for sure, the Reeperbahn Festival never disappoints. See you next year under the neon lights: chasing the next big thing in music.
