Originally formed in Perth, Australia, Tame Impala began as a psychedelic rock project before evolving into a globally influential act that fuses elements of indie rock, electronic music, and pop. Inspired in part by Western Australia’s underground rave and “bush doof” culture, the record leans into looser structures and heavier grooves, with standout tracks like Dracula quickly resonating with fans.
