Dua Lipa brings Radical Optimism Tour to Prague: A Once-in-a-Lifetime Pop Spectacle
If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime party, think huge emotions, endless confetti, and a stage setup so cinematic you can’t look away, stop searching. Radical Optimism Tour has it all. On May 28th, the pop powerhouse Dua Lipa brought her second night of magic to Prague’s O2 Arena, and the show was packed with unforgettable moments from start to finish. But let’s rewind and start at the very beginning.
A Promising Start: A Future Star Opens the Night
Opening the show was UK newcomer Alessi Rose, a rising star who already shows strong promise in both her sound and lyrics. With a unique aesthetic and clear pop potential, Alessi brought refreshing energy to the stage and clearly enjoyed plaing her music to such a big audience. (Check out our newcomer spotlight here).
Act I: A Dreamlike Beginning
As the lights dimmed and waves crashed on the screen behind her, Dua Lipa made her entrance from the smoke to Training Season, standing atop a bridge-like platform, a surreal, dreamlike moment that immediately set the tone. Fireworks lit up the venue, and the energy soared. Break My Heart brought tight choreography and the first confetti drop of the night. By One Kiss, we were diving headfirst into Act II.

Acts II & III: Crowd-Pleasing Hits and Local Surprises
This part of the show was stacked with hits like Levitating, which had the entire arena singing along. Here, Dua’s vocals truly took center stage. The set felt more personal, with Dua interacting with fans, snapping selfies, and even introducing a marriage proposal mid-show.
But the real standout moment came when she veered off script. On night one in Prague, Dua Lipa had covered a popular Czech song, and on the second night, she took it a step further. She brought the original Czech artist, Ewa Farna, on stage for a surprise duet. The reaction? Deafening. It was arguably the loudest and most surprising moment of the entire night, and a beautiful gesture of support for local artists.
From there, it was a full-body workout. Physical, Electricity, Illusion, Hallucinate, one dance hit after another. A glowing sphere in the center of the stage lit up and spun dramatically as the entire arena turned into a massive party.

Act IV: Cinematic Love and Full Circle Moments
The fourth act shifted gears into something more emotional and cinematic. Horses galloped across the screen, strobe lights pulsed, a captions asked, “How long?”. All of this led into a stunning performance of Falling Forever, with Dua’s vocals soaring above the crowd. Happy for You followed, accompanied by a foggy, cloud-like stage; heavenly, literally. The emotional peak came with Love Again, introduced by haunting violins and surrounded by a circle of fire, before Dua Lipa was lifted high on a platform, singing with unmatched power.
She closed the act with Be the One, a full-circle moment for fans who’ve followed her since her 2017 debut tour. Singing that anthem to a packed arena, once a small club crowd, hit differently. She even came to the front row, grabbing a fan’s phone and singing alongside them at the barricade. It was intimate, powerful, and a surreal “I made it” -Moment.
Encore: Euphoric Finish
The encore was stacked with fan favorites: New Rules, Be the One, Cool, Dance the Night, and Don’t Start Now, each building more anticipation and energy than the last. Confetti exploded, choreography was incredible, and the lighting made it feel like a full-blown rave at times. Just when we thought it was over, she surprised us with Houdini as the final cherry on top.
A Night to Remember
Dua Lipa’s vocals were flawless, the dancers were electrifying, and the production was absolutely next-level. But what made this show so special wasn’t just the technical excellence, it was the connection. Dua made sure fans felt seen. No overpriced VIP packages, just genuine moments, eye contact, and extra love for the front row. The stage design was inclusive, offering great views from every corner of the arena.
As I Wanna Dance With Somebody played on the speakers during the exit, fans laughed, and danced their way out of the venue. The Radical Optimism Tour is a euphoric pop experience, part club night, part emotional release, and a masterclass in how to put on a stadium show.
